Trip Overview
The trip includes 7 nights of lodging, round trip transportation between Santa Barbara and Sun Valley, 5 days lift tickets, welcome party, hot tub parties, farewell dinner and no limit on the amount of fun you can have. You may tailor your own travel and lift options to get the trip that is right for you.
The Mountain
Sun Valley Resort is a unique combination of Old World European styling mixed with a Wild West heritage. Sun Valley is a ski destination that every skier should have on their bucket list. With 3,400 vertical feet and over 2,400 acres of diverse terrain, Sun Valley offers skiers and riders something special on two distinct mountains. We will be staying at the Deluxe Lodge Apartments adjacent to the Sun Valley Lodge where we have booked a combination of 2 and 3 bedroom condos. The village map can be found Here. We will have full use of the Sun Valley Lodge's facilities which include 17 restaurants and bars, a sprawling spa, a fitness center and 3 outdoor pools. Condos will be filled in a first-come, first-served basis.
Transportation Options
If you purchase your travel through the club you will not need to make any other arrangements. We have arranged for two separate flights to Sun Valley in order to have enough seats. By flying directly to Sun Valley rather than Boise we can avoid a 3 hour bus ride along with the associated cost. Each flight has pros and cons and seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. When you sign up for the trip, request your preferred flight and if a seat is available it is yours. If your preferred flight is full you will be switched over to the other flight unless you wish to opt-out of the airfare option and make your own arrangements.
Flight #1 United Airlines (29 seats) - we will take the Santa Barbara Airbus to LAX to catch a non-stop flight to Sun Valley (SUN). This flight requires a bus ride to and from LAX but it is a direct flight and it is $60 cheaper.

Flight #2 United Airlines (25 seats) - Fly from Santa Barbara (SBA) through San Francisco (SFO) and then on to Sun Valley (SUN). This flight leaves from Santa Barbara but flies through San Francisco which is prone to delays. There is $60 more cost for this flight.

Arrange your own travel:
If you wish to arrange your own flights or perhaps drive that is no problem. You can have a seat on the shuttles to and from the condos provided you arrive in Sun Valley in time to be bundled into one of the the flight groups. If you are coming in later you will need to arrange your own transport to Sun Valley.
