Trip Overview
The trip includes 7 nights of lodging, round trip transportation between Santa Barbara and Whitefish, 5 days lift tickets, welcome party, hot tub parties, farewell dinner and no limit on the amount of fun you can have. You may tailor your own travel and lift options to get the trip that is right for you.
The Mountain
Once called the Big Mountain in northwestern Montana, Whitefish Mountain Resort offers spectacular views of Glacier National Park and Flathead National Forest. The original resort originally opened in 1947, and the slogan for the area “Ski the Fish” has been around since the 1990s. With its many trails and year-round activities, skiers and boarders of all levels will enjoy this scenic resort. Please visit the Whitefish Website for more information.
Lodging
We will be staying at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake where we booked all available 2 and 3 bedroom condos. If the condos fill up, we also have reserved several Studios with 2 Queen beds. The Studios do not have a full kitchen, but do have wet bar with coffee maker, sink and microwave. Condos will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and when full we will use the studios.
Transportation Options - Update - the SBA flight is full. Please sign up to be placed on the waiting list.
If you purchase your travel through the club you will not need to make any other arrangements. We will fly on United Airlines (25 seats) from Santa Barbara (SBA) through Denver (DEN) and then on to Kalispell (FCA). The return flight goes through Denver to SBA. Upon arrival in Kalispell we will travel by shuttles for the ~30 minute ride up to Whitefish.

Arrange your own travel:
If you wish to arrange your own flights or perhaps drive that is no problem. You can have a seat on the Kalispell - Whitefish shuttles provided you arrive in Kalispell in time to be bundled into one of the flight groups. If you are coming in later you will need to arrange your own transport to Whitefish.
Optional Day Trip to Fernie, British Columbia
We have arranged for an optional ski day at Fernie, BC which boasts: "The Largest Alpine Bowl Skiing in the Canadian Rockies". We will take a 2 hour bus ride from Whitefish on Wednesday March 1st for a day of fun in Canada. A valid passport will be required to cross the border. The cost is $150 for transportation and lift ticket.
Our Ticket offerings are; Adult 4, 5 or 6 Day Lifts. Senior discounts are available.
Whitefish is not a member of the Ikon Pass.
