Trip Overview

This is the third Mammoth drive up trip (no bus). Includes 3 nights of lodging and pizza party. Get in 3 full days to ski Mammoth Mountain, or the nearby Tamarack cross country ski center.

Lodging: Outbound Mammoth (formerly Sierra Nevada Resort)

We are thrilled to return to one of our all-time favorite places to stay at Mammoth: the Sierra Nevada Resort.  They have chalets/ condos that are 3 bedrooms (double bed rooms or king rooms) 3 full bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, fireplace, dining area.  The hotel rooms are either king rooms or double queen rooms no kitchens but likely mini fridge and coffee pot.  There is a wine bar in the lobby, restaurant, and a hot tub. Walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and other amenities.  Shuttles to slopes just across the street.  First choice is for first come and paid sign ups.  Limited space is available and deadlines will be enforced.

Trip Party, Hot Tub & Dining

Pizza party included - you will be assigned to bring a salad, wine, or beer to the pizza party night.

Transportation

All Mammoth trips are drive ups and carpooling is encouraged as parking is extremely limited.  Your help as a driver or an organizer of carpooling is greatly appreciated.  The Trip Captain will help with the arrangements but will need some information from you.

   * If you would like to be a carpool driver
         * indicate your vehicle type, and number of seats

         * indicate the number of passengers you can transport
                 (not including yourself)

*If you would like to be a carpool passenger

*If you will make your own arrangements

Carpooling departs Mammoth Main Lodge parking lot on Wednesday at 4:00 pm for the return trip to Santa Barbara, unless otherwise arranged within your carpool. Driving times are ultimately at the discretion of the driver so be sure to have good communication within your carpool and with your driver. Advise the trip captain if you are not traveling in the caravan. Costs for your ride will be up to the owner of the vehicle.
