This trip has been a challenge to put together due to all of the variables and as a result the pricing can be a bit confusing. The "full trip package" includes 7 nights lodging, 5 days lift tickets and round trip transportation from Santa Barbara to Jackson. You may tailor your own options to get to the right trip for you.
The Mountain
Jackson Hole is celebrating its 50th year of operation and you can be there to partake of the legendary beauty and terrain. Improving access for your gravity research project is a new high-speed detachable quad which offers an additional 200 acres of lift-access skiing and riding. In addition, three new groomed runs and extensive glading will enhance the experience of classic Jackson Hole terrain.
Trip Overview
The trip includes 7 nights of lodging, all transportation to and from Jackson (if selected), 5 days lift tickets, Welcome party, hot tub parties, farewell dinner and no limit on the amount of fun you can have.
We will be staying at the remodeled 49er Inn which is conveniently located in downtown Jackson just 3 blocks from the Town Square and a short walk to some of the area’s finest dining, shopping, entertainment, and activities. We have reserved 30 beds in Studios Suites and 10 beds in Hotel Rooms.

In an effort to keep travel costs under some control we offer four different airline options for you to choose from with each route having advantages and disadvantages.

The LAX flight costs less and the direct flight to Jackson makes for a shorter travel day. The down side is the required early bus departure from Santa Barbara which is somewhat offset by have the privilege of traveling with the Trip Captain.
The flight from SBA while eliminating the early bus trip to LAX comes at more expense and there is a layover in San Francisco making for a longer travel day. Worst case could be getting stuck in SFO or potential missing baggage issues due to the smaller plane out of SBA.
The choice is yours and flights will be on a first come first served basis.
Lift Tickets
If you purchase your lift tickets with the club package you will receive the group discount. If you have a Mountain Collective pass or other type of ticket it is up to you to do the math to determine what makes sense for you. This trip was priced with the 5 of 7 day lift ticket however you may choose different option if it works for you.

Other Options
Grand Targhee Ski Area day trip- this is an option I am considering but it will not be confirmed until maybe December. There are too many variables at this time such as weather conditions, interest by the bulk of the group would determine which type of arrangement is made. Also there is a mountain pass to go over and weather on the specific day might be an issue. Stay tuned…Trail Map
